The legend behind this variety of Black Obsidian is that certain members of an American Indian tribe were being pursued by the Calvary. They were grossly outnumbered and after bravely fighting, jumped off a cliff to avoid being captured. The woman were distraught and cried dark tears that formed into this oddly shaped natural stone, as thier tears hit the ground. With this historic legend, it is known for helping with grief and the grieving process.
Apache tears are also grounding and protective. It assists in keeping your aura cleansed of negative energies and cause you to be aware of energies that are not your own.
Can encourage you to have more joy as they help to bring you more positivity, and allowing you to release the negative. A gentle working stone that works with you slowly and gracefully.
